September is the beginning of low season in Tarifa, and a good reason to come and visit us in Tarifa. Many digital nomads will return to Tarifa. As we don’t have enough space for everyone in the workation camp I’ve decided to

So I’ve decided to organize another Workation at the end of September. We’ll arrange many activities for participants and we’ll have a few special events for location independent entrepreneurs!

The tickets includes free access to our Tarifa Workation Camp Community (even if you’re not using the coworking space).

September Workation Program – How it works

The workation in September will focus less on coworking but more on networking and events.

All events are optional and most will only start in the afternoon, so you’ll still have a lot of free time and can get some work done as well!

Joining the workation will give you a great introduction into Tarifa and make it even easier to plug into our community from day one. If you can work remotely and (finally) want to take full advantage of the location independent lifestyle this is for you!

Walking Tour
We’ll give you a great intro to Tarifa, show you the best restaurants, sights and WiFi hotspots in town. Afterwards we meet up with other workationers and watch the sunset in one of the amazing beach bars in town.

Weekly-Meet Up

Activities
Want to learn kitesurfing, take Spanish or yoga lessons, go mountain biking or even learn yoga or watch whales? We collaborate with local businesses so you can enjoy a wider range of discounted activities together with other participants. If you plan to learn Spanish it’s best if you do your courses before or after the workation to make the most out of the event.

Entrepreneur Dinners & Talks
Join us for for two weekly dinners and live talks over the last two weeks of the month. We’ll share a great meal (drinks not included) at an amazing restaurant in town followed by live talks from location independent entrepreneurs.

Mastermind session
Do you need some help in your business? In the mastermind session you’ll team up with other entrepreneurs who will give you advice and help you to  solve the most important challenges in your business.

Freetime
Tarifa is a small town so it’s really easy to meet-up besides the normal program. Even if you’re not working on your own projects and there’s no official events. I promise, you’ll never get bored with so many like-minded people in the same town ;-).

Accommodation
We’ll recommend work-friendly accommodation for every budget where you can hang out with other participants. Alternatively you’re welcome to book your own place. Check AirBnB or booking.com for good options.

The ticket prices will help to cover the organizing fee and cost for the event. In return you’ll be able to get discounts on most group activities if you get the WORKATIONER ticket and even more valuable insights and networking opportunities and two dinners, if you get the ENTREPRENEUR ticket.

I also have to say that I plan to raise the prices below for future workations. But since it’s a fairly new concept compared to previous and we’re doing it the first time I’m willing to give away the tickets at a very low price. This will be a life-time experience and I’m sure that the value you’ll get alone from the amazing networking possibilites during the event will be much higher than the cost for the tickets.

No Risk: Name change possible until the start of the workation. All tickets are limited, book early to secure your spot.

So what’s the best ticket for me? 

Workationer: Want to stay a bit longer and take part in a few activities? This ticket is for you. Ask all your questions in our private workation camp community and take part in organized activities (kitesurfing, whale watching, mountain biking, Spanish courses and more).

Entrepreneur: Do you run your own location independent business? In that case you’ll get the most value out of the entrepreneur tickets. Besides taking part in the workation activities you can receive valuable feedback from other participants in the mastermind sessions and learn from successful entrepreneurs during our live talks and networking dinners in amazing restaurants in Tarifa (drinks not included).

Before & after the workation

You’re more than welcome to join us in Tarifa from the beginning of September already. Every Wednesday in September we’ll organize a weekly walking tour and meet-up for remote workers.

Things to do after the workation:

One piece of advice: Don’t buy a return flight when you come to Tarifa. From my experience most people’s plans change and they end up staying longer.

There’s so many great things to do nearby that it’s easy to stay in the area until the digital nomad cruise leaves Europe in November.

Here’s a few cool things you can nearby after the workation:

Surf Office Lisbon – Visit one of the most exciting cities for remote work in Europe and hang out with like-minded people at the Surf Office. Lisbon is only 600 km away from Tarifa and very easy to get to. The easiest way to get there is with a stopover in the beautiful town of Seville.

Taghazout Coworking – Move South to Morocco for another amazing workation experience in the upcoming digital nomad surfer town Taghazout.

Explore Andalusia – Seville, Granada, Marbella – There is much more to see around Andalucia than just Tarifa. Remember that rental cars here are only around 5 € per day which make your exploration even easier.
